Doing the next right thing, practicing the Golden Rule and treating everyone – customers, employees and the community at large – with the spirit of kindness and respect is what drives everything we do, including offering car insurance to everyone in Ohio from our Beachwood office.
Every year, we carve out part of our budget to support worthwhile charities across the state where we provide a portal for people from all walks to learn about, afford and buy car insurance.
In 2020, we have chosen to provide resources to these three inspiring organizations:
The 24 in 24 benefitting A Special Wish - Cleveland
Since its creation in 2015, the 24 in 24 fundraiser has generated more than $420,000 for A Special Wish Cleveland, and specifically for Northeast Ohio children battling life threatening illnesses. The 24 in 24 features challengers attempting to run one mile every hour for 24 consecutive hours. Each brave athlete taking on the challenge is doing so for an even braver child from A Special Wish Cleveland. Anytime Fitness in Concord, Ohio is the founder and host of the event.
The Insurance Pad has been a primary sponsor since 2018. The 2020 event takes place on the weekend of October 10. The Insurance Pad's founder and chief protection coach, Kim Rankin, ran the 24 miles in 24 hours in 2018 and this year provides a title sponsorship in support of a young boy named August who battles B-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia.

Our founder and chief protection coach, Kim Rankin, loves sports and has played and participated in softball, volleyball and golf since high school. Today, The Insurance Pad is proud to sponsor the Beachwood High School Athletic Boosters.
In 2020, The Insurance Pad chose the Velocity Heat Northeast as a sponsorship partner. The Velocity Heat Northeast is a 14U girls fast-pitch, travel softball team that attracts players from across Northeast Ohio.
